Common questions
Do I need Apple Music?
Yes. On Air plays your music through Apple Music, so you need an active Apple Music subscription. On Air Premium is a separate subscription for the voiced intros.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → On Air. You can change plan or cancel there; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I subscribed but the App doesn't show Premium
Open the On Air Premium screen in the App and tap Restore at the top, making sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
How do I get my account on a new device?
On the welcome screen, choose Sign in and use Sign in with Apple with the same Apple ID as before. Your history, badges, and subscription come with you.
An intro got a fact wrong
Intros are generated with AI from public sources, and occasionally get things wrong. Use the report option on the intro in the App, or suggest a better fact, so we can fix it for everyone.
Why didn't a song get an intro?
Depending on your intro frequency setting, not every song gets an intro. A brand-new song may also take a moment the first time while its intro is created. Check your connection if intros aren't playing at all.
Voice search isn't working
Voice search needs microphone and speech recognition access. Turn both on in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and Speech Recognition.
How do I delete my account?
In On Air, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and its data. It doesn't cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that separately in iPhone Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
